August and Everything After this afternoon while typesetting.
I just purchased my first ever Windows PC. It’s a bit of a shock after 27 years of using Apple computers. I honestly never thought this day would come, but here we are. I will partition the HD so I can use Linux as my main OS, while keeping Windows alive to use Adobe. Shocked.
Rereading Generation X after 27 years. Mostly spurred on by the nostalgia of it. But also curious how it reads now.
Trip to Parry Sound today to go on an afternoon cruise around the islands of Georgian Bay. And I got a new hat.
It’s been a long, hard year. Already a year. Miss you, Joanna. <3

We put down Pacey yesterday, Joanna’s dog. She was 16+ years old and had a good long life, but it was her time. I went over to spend the afternoon with her. It was beautiful out yesterday; a warm and sunny fall day. I took her for a final walk after lunch. We went down the alley and around the block. She couldn’t walk well anymore so we didn’t go far. But Pacey enjoyed it. I spent the rest of the afternoon giving Pacey treats and petting her. Pacey loved getting treats more than anything, and she got a lot of extra treats today. You were a good dog, Pacey. I’ll miss our walks together.

I love you, Joanna. I will miss you. You were always a good sister to me, your weird older brother. Thank you for that. Rest in love and peace.
Sometimes I like listening to the radio because it’s comforting to know that there are other people listening to the same thing at the same time.
Gutted about LFC losing the CL final. But it was a great season. YNWA
